Hypothetical Space

The upstairs of the gallery came to be known as the “Hypothetical space”, the world above in the realm of non-reality. Merging the unseen and perfectly balanced, the hypothetical space is the eventuality of harmony and entropy becoming one. It's the path that Satan Mare takes to exist in the non-existence. Yet the way there is as complex as it's simple and as coherent as it is bizarre.

A very special collaboration was featured here: a perfume called Satan Mare Smokes was unveiled inside the Satan Mare container that was done with an incredible perfumist Rose Ratton of Eros Rose Perfume. The scent is light and fruity with notes of tobacco and hay. It transports you into the memory of sitting alongside someone in the fruit garden while smoking a cigarette and pondering about the nature of reality.

Living Room

Descending down the stairs leads to the living room. This is where the Satan Mare plays chess and guitar. Merging the serene backdrop of the colorful memories and the unsettled negotiation with chaos of Perestroyka to the sounds of the Soviet soundtrack lulls you into the sense of optimism and kindness in the space that is troubled and unstable.

Another incredibly special collaboration piece was created together with Amy Franz, who specializes in custom leather pieces. Amy created the chess board for the Satan Mare chess set. Among the studs and carefully crafted panels each side features a beautiful snake, one black and one white. A player takes the side that corresponds to the color they are playing—Satan Mares (black) and Cloud Horses (white). It's the battle between the originator and the thought, yet the originator is the thought so white go first.

The Garden

A stroll deeper reveals a garden area, a playground of the outside, where sounds of crickets interweave the canopy of the multiple realities where every possible outcome has happened.

The Bedroom

The garden leads down to the child's bedroom inside the home where rest, pain, and chaos merge into the uneasy and serene space.
